Times New Rita are an indie band from NYC. They recently released a new single, Bubble Wrap. I like its sound, with its airy 1970s harmonies, steady drums and bass, and impertinent 2000s guitars. The chorus is instantly recognizable because it sounds so catchy.
Bubble Wrap talks about valuing your time and heart, learning from past hurts, and prioritizing yourself, like metaphorically putting your heart in bubble wrap so it doesn’t get damaged again.
