South London artist Cheska Moore unveils Don’t Take It Personal. It’s her first true ballad, and it truly hits the mark. The lyrics depict Moore’s lifelong struggle with anxiety and OCD, which she had never previously described in such detail. You feel as if you know her better after listening to them.
I love the piano work throughout, as it has such a sweet classical vibe. Also included is a Disney-inspired choir that adds another layer of complexity to the arrangement. The main vocals are brilliant as expected.
Moore never shies away from experimenting with her music. Don’t Take It Personal works from every angle. Check it out below!
