Serena Foster’s Love Again and Thank You Card arrive as a pair, both pulled straight from the depths of love, heartbreak, and everything in between. Foster describes this project as coming “straight from my heart to your ears,” which is the kind of sincerity that comes through in the songs.
And you can hear it. There’s nothing to be proved here. Just Foster working through the full spectrum of what it means to love someone, lose clarity, and find it again. Her lyrical abilities are at their peak here.
The accompanying video adds an additional dimension to the whole experience, giving visual life to the moment when the filter drops and you see things as they actually are.
