Ryann Ross doesn’t need much. An acoustic guitar, some space and she’s got you.
Blubird is her third single and the latest preview of her debut project coming this spring, and it might be her most powerful song yet. Produced and co-written with Levi Roth, with electric guitar and lap steel from Ryan Richter (Dijon, Lizzy McAlpine), the track is strikingly minimal.
At its core, Blubird talks about change, the kind that happens unexpectedly and has lasting consequences. The lyrics are well-written, in my opinion.
