Dutch rising star Lizet Aviva writes indie folk songs that move the soul within seconds. She’s currently working on a new EP, which I’m really excited about, and to create some hype, she has released Stutter & Stumbling. It talks about her struggles with talking and being noticed, starting when she was just a child. Though she’s worked through much of it over the years, she describes how that old fear maintains its grip.
I like the arrangement of this song. It has wonderful guitar patterns and powerful drums that both increase in tension throughout. The vocals are truly phenomenal, so you’ll be delighted.
Aviva always makes the right creative decisions. Stutter & Stumbling does rock, while also inspiring in its vulnerability. Check it out below!
