Lizet Aviva is one of the most talented Dutch artists currently active. With Spent Match, from her sophomore EP, she keeps it sincere and, above all, relatable. The song talks about the feeling of being burnt out while trying to chase your dreams. It can be very tiring to always be “on.” Therefore, taking a step back is sometimes necessary for finding the strength needed for the journey ahead.
Driven by guitar, drums, and bass, Spent Match has a powerful and engaging instrumental foundation. The vocals layered on top have a strong yet playful side, which makes them stand out.
Spent Match brings a little light into the darkness. Check it out below!
