Not The One is Milibea’s new indie-pop track, and it’s a good one. It talks about the exhaustion of trying to get approval that was never really on offer, of answering questions for people who weren’t paying attention, and shrinking down to fit a standard that keeps changing. And then, finally, just… stopping.
Not rich enough, not young enough, not good enough. Whatever that means. Milibea has stopped caring, and she sounds incredible doing it.
