Izzie Yardley’s new single The Garden reflects the exhausting, almost unconscious rush of modern life. We sprint through our lives in pursuit of success, barely noticing what we pass by. The lyrics are a gentle but pointed reminder that the race itself might be the thing getting in the way.
Recorded live to tape at Farleigh Studios alongside bassist Nick Pini, guitarist Luke Potashnick, and Brit Award-winning producer Ethan Johns on drums, the track embodies the warmth and spontaneity of musicians who admire each other completely. “There was a lot of trust in the room,” Yardley says. It shows.
Yardley always knows to deliver. Check out The Garden below!
