Tinsley’s new single Temporary Insanity is about looking back at a past version of yourself an recognizing someone who stayed too long, begged for the bare minimum, and somehow convinced herself that it was enough. It reframes those moments not as defining failures, but as something temporary, a state you passed through and came out the other side of.
I love the production here. Heavy drums and electric guitar sit beneath dreamy vocals, forming a push and pull between something grounded and something weightless, as honest as the lyrics it delivers. It’s confessional indie pop-rock that fully shines.
