Rising Canadian singer-songwriter Dempsey Bolton studied astrophysics, and GIANTS (from his new album IN THE PRESENCE OF GIANTS) reflects that background with grace. It talks about the universe, about atoms older than memory, and about the strange comfort of being cosmically insignificant.
GIANTS is irresistibly fun musically. It tricks you into dancing before you’ve registered what Bolton is actually saying. My favorite part has to be the chorus since I find it so catchy.
