Pretty and warm and dark and vile. Four words that are incompatible, and yet here we are. plonki and FUZZY TEETH clearly don’t believe in easy descriptions, and their debut collaborative EP proves they’ve earned the right to that complexity.
Tell Me (Like You Mean It) is the perfect introduction to what they’re doing together. It opens with fingerpicked delicacy, and slowly sloughs its way toward a psychedelic rock breakdown that feels inevitable. By the time it gets there you’re already too far in to turn back.
