Isn’t it amazing how clear your vision becomes when you’re stripped of all your usual defenses? LA-based independent artist Lo Artiz made PIECES from this place, while newly diagnosed with Bipolar 2, recovering from an eating disorder, and getting sober at the same time.
She captures in the lyrics something almost impossible to articulate, namely whether or not you can still be truly known and loved regardless of your fragility. Produced by Trey Kams, the arrangement supports the emotional honesty without overshadowing it.
With PIECES, Artiz keeps things so real. She should be given flowers for it. Check out the song below!
