The loudest conversations are the ones no one else hears. Singer-songwriter Alanna Matty knows how confusing your own inner voice can be, and Confessions was written for the moment you decide to let someone in.
The song talks about the courage it takes to admit that you aren’t doing well, to friends, to family, to a partner, and even harder to find the words to ask for help.
The production, co-produced with Cam Ostrom, is fantastic. It drifts on warble and reverb, with airy vocals layered over a fresh electric guitar sound.
