Dutch singer-songwriter CHARLOT releases her new single, Scattered To Dust. The song talks about realizing how much of your life has passed by on autopilot, accumulating days without truly inhabiting them. Drawn from psychology and Eastern philosophy, CHARLOT’s approach to that realisation is neither panicky nor preachy. Just clear-eyed and genuinely curious, the way someone sounds when they’ve decided to actually take notice.
Scattered To Dust has a high-tempo production with rock-like aesthetics and pop sensitivity. The vocals are well-balanced, managing to remain perfectly on top of the main melodic pattern.
