Emerging singer and pianist Odile Ohms releases her debut single Don’t Give It Wings, the first of a series of stunning singles leading to an EP later this year. The song looks at how our experiences can shape how we see others, and ourselves, zooming in on the moment where reaction becomes something to be learned and passed along. The lyrics are very thoughtful.
Guitar-led and laid-back, the production gives the writing room to do what it needs to do without getting in the way. The vocals are outstanding, especially just before the chorus kicks in.
