London-based artist ISQ shares Animal, the first single from her upcoming fifth studio album, The Silence is Deafening, arriving on 23rd October. Its lyrics explore the emotional complexity of a mother daughter relationship through changing perspectives, conflict, and understanding that grows over time.
The song’s sound is amazing as warm melodies collide with determined guitar driven textures, introducing a new direction for ISQ that moves between alternative songwriting and the shadowy influence of Massive Attack.
