Brooklyn Doran (she/her) is a boundary-pushing queer indie singer-songwriter hailing from Northern Ontario. She releases her new single, Heavy Hurt. It has punchy drums and catchy guitar riffs. The vocals sound on another level, presenting plenty of emotion.
Doran wrote Heavy Hurt while on tour with Canadian hardcore outfit, Cancer Bats. It talks about the transition from being on tour to being home, especially when you’re leaving behind someone you love
