Jill Blutt is an artist, songwriter, producer, and overall really nice, cool and chill person. She releases her new single, Untitled. It addresses the subject of materialism, drawing on Percy Bysshe Shelley’s sonnet Ozymandias to advocate for self-acceptance and living your values. The lyrics are very thoughtful, which elevates them to a higher level.
I love the production here, which features shimmering electronics, tape-saturated guitars, and distorted drum breaks. The vocals sound impressive, balancing between different emotions.
