Morgara hails from Toronto and bridges the mystical and the modern. Last Friday, she released her debut single Desire. It examines the tension between self-sabotage and surrender, written for anyone whose cravings, whether romantic, creative, or personal, have influenced their lives. The lyrics are powerful for sure.
I love the traditional feel of the song’s arrangement. Its nostalgic appeal works perfectly. The vocals sound convincing, as well as dynamic when needed.
With Desire, Morgara shows what kind of artist she is. Spoiler alert: a brilliant one. Check out the song below!
