Singer-songwriter Ava Valianti has released a new EP titled Sophomore Slump, featuring the focus single Great Pretender. The song is about staying in something, even though you already know the outcome. And yes, that isn’t a positive one. However, the step to move on seems difficult due to doubts that run through your mind.
Sonically, Great Pretender is a bit more stripped back than the other tracks on the EP. Nevertheless, the electric guitar provides a very solid foundation.
Ava has once again brilliantly transformed her feelings into creativity. Check out Great Pretender below!
