South London artist Cheska Moore continues the expansion of her cinematic alt-pop world with I Don’t Know What’s Real. As part of the artist’s self-described “nostalgia gothic” aesthetic, the track draws from recurring lucid dreams where familiar surroundings become disconcerting.
I Don’t Know What’s Real sounds brilliant. It begins with sparse vocals and open space, establishing a fragile, dreamlike tone before gradually tightening into more unstable textures. The chorus leads into dense, distorted synth layers that dominate the mix, which aims to fully immerse you.
Moore understands the creative mission she has. Which one is that? Well, delivering masterpieces. Check out I Don’t Know What’s Real below!
