Fifi Koro is currently experimenting extensively within the pop genre, and she succeeds in transcending expectations, as her new single, Love Song, shows. It sounds absolutely phenomenal. The guitar work throughout, for instance, has a lot of sparkle. The vocals are neatly placed over the backdrop and convincingly delivered. The chorus is super catchy, so I like it.
Love Song romanticizes flaws, pokes fun at unhealthy dynamics, and acknowledges the addictive nature of staying with someone who brings out both the best and the worst in you. The lyrics make perfect sense, and because they’re so relatable, they hit home quickly.
