Noha Saré’s popularity continues to grow year after year. And that comes as no surprise. Her music hits you right away. It’s simply perfect. Not just because of the sound, but because of the lyrics too. Books could be written about Noha’s smart writing.
With her new single patience, she added yet another masterpiece to her already impressive repertoire. It speaks of a relevant modern-day struggle. Which one, you might be wondering? Well, the constant pressure placed upon us to just keep going without really taking a break. Because the faster, the better. Almost no one has patience anymore. And that’s precisely what Noha finds regrettable. Life isn’t a sprint at the end of the day. Life is also meant to be lived. But sometimes that little voice that urges you to move on 24/7 refuses to go away, as the chorus explains.
The guitar work throughout the song sounds moody, in line with the narrative. The beat underneath is steady, delivering a punch that really sticks. The vocals are, as expected from Noha, nothing short of phenomenal. The way she delivers her point simply convinces.
If you can’t get enough of patience and want to see Noha live, that’s possible. She’ll perform at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam on July 11, followed by a headline show at Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam on November 8 (tickets here).
