Estella Dawn makes excellent use of her creative talent, and Can You Believe exemplifies this. The song sounds fantastic; it has a sort of Lola Young vibe, but adds an original twist that turns it into something special.
The song follows Dawn as she wavers between self-confidence and a breakdown, moving through late-night longing, self-deprecating humor, and the uncomfortable realization that love can make even the toughest person feel dangerously exposed. Lyrically, things are powerful.
The production sounds cool and creates constant momentum, especially during the chorus. The powerhouse vocals are present once again. And my gosh, they even sound better than ever.
Estella only further solidifies her reputation with Can You Believe. A tune you simply must listen to!
