Singer-songwriter India Thieriot releases her new single, Yesterday’s News. It deals with the fear of being replaced, wondering if there’s always a newer, better version waiting in the wings. The lyrics are vulnerable, because the emotion they express runs deep. But that’s precisely what makes them so convincing.
I think the production works well here; it is very pop-like, but nowhere cliché. The vocal delivery also matches the energy perfectly.
