LA-based rising superstar manny moura has been a ‘fangirl’ her whole life, and Devotion serves as the ultimate love letter to fangirls everywhere. The lyrics center on the sort of obsession you can only feel for a celebrity crush, someone you don’t know and never actually want to get to know (because you don’t want to ruin the fantasy). They’re unattainable and perfect, and they won’t let you down.
The production is fun, featuring slick synth textures built around playful vocals. My favorite part of the song, the chorus, sounds incredibly catchy.
