Singer and songwriter Alice Watts is here with King, the lead single from her new EP – Greenpoint Sessions. She recorded the song with musician friends in New York, and it has a beautiful, organic feel that you don’t find in many modern songs. I especially love the piano work throughout because it sounds so enchanting. The vocals are also easy to appreciate.
King captures the moment you stop chasing someone who can’t love you back and choose to follow your soul’s longing instead. In most cases, that’s the best course of action, since you avoid going down a path you don’t want to take.
