Last Night turns toward reflection, preserving the atmosphere of a memory still close enough to touch. Little Bird moves with delicate tenderness, a small fragile presence suspended in sound. Alone stands patiently in its own silence, depicting solitude. Fuss and Parable gently reshape the overall vibe, introducing subtle turns and fresh colours without breaking the album’s calm inner rhythm. The piano version of Alone closes the record, revealing new shades in a melody that has changed simply through time and distance.
Recorded in Kazakhstan, completed in Norway, and encompassing the emotional geography of countless places in between, Cascade truly impresses. You need to hear it as soon as possible. It just might change the way you listen to music.
