Singer/songwriter/producer Kate Delos Santos releases her new single, Compromise. It explores the heartbreak of loving someone who no longer seems as invested in the relationship. Rather than giving up, Kate finds herself repeatedly trying to bridge the growing distance, hoping her partner will meet her halfway. As old memories and unresolved feelings continue to surface, she begins to question whether holding on is worth the emotional toll.
Compromise sounds great. I’m especially drawn to the way the light layers of harmony are interwoven. The guitar melody feels iconic too; it sticks in your head straight away.
