Singer/songwriter Maddie Zahm shares Hometown Letdown. Its lyrics reflect on her experiences after leaving her hometown, her coming-out, and her break with the church. The honesty you find throughout is beautiful. Maddie keeps things very personal.
The production here sounds quite energetic, especially during the chorus. This can only be appreciated. The vocals reflect the feel of the narrative, so they’re beautifully synchronized together.
