Exploring body image struggles, lingering self-doubt, and blurred fragments of the past appearing through nightmares, the track reflects on the experience of confronting parts of yourself you thought you had already moved beyond. Lyrically, it’s impressive.
I love the arrangement here, which spotlights cascading strings, lush pedal steel, and warm-toned dobro. The vocals feel poignant, holding an emotional weight that reaches the soul almost instantly.
