Alt singer Piper Connoly releases her new single, body bag, which talks about being underestimated, betrayed, and made fun of like you’re already gone, and then getting back up again. She wrote it from the perspective of someone who thinks they have destroyed you, but who actually only proved that you’re stronger than they thought.
The production here is hard-hitting, with a chorus that goes all out. I find the guitar work throughout particularly brilliant. The vocals are dynamic, so very varied, making them only more impactful.
body bag is a true hit. I already have it on repeat, now it’s your turn!
