Hot! Sad! Girls! is the lead single from Sexxcity, the six-song prelude to katie MAC’s forthcoming 2027 album hot! sad! girls!. Drawing from her years working in strip clubs, the track transforms heartbreak, instability, and late-night escapism into a euphoric glitch-pop anthem. Its lyrics capture the contradiction of feeling untouchable on the dance floor, only to come undone on the ride home.
The production is fast-paced and power-packed, with glitchy electronic sounds that keep the energy high all the way through. The razor-sharp hooks are brilliant, delivering an addictive release.
In Hot! Sad! Girls!, katie shows exactly why she’s an artist to watch. Check it out below!
