Rising Canadian talent Melifawn makes indie pop inspired by feelings of wonder, self-confidence, and nostalgia. She recently released her new single, Under the Shell. Its lyrics talk about getting to know yourself through someone else’s eyes. The way they’re written, very impressive.
Under the Shell sounds brilliant, mixing elements of both pop and bossa nova. The chorus drops at 0:35 and has a fun, dreamy vibe.
