New York-based singer-songwriter GraceAnn Kontak shares Punchlines, the title track from her new EP of the same name. Inspired by her experience of being single in NYC and going on what feels like a thousand first dates, the song takes a lighthearted look at the dating scene, turning those experiences into a relatable story about searching for the right connection.
Produced and mixed in a Brooklyn studio by Alex Crossland, who also played all the instruments, Punchlines sounds refined. GraceAnn’s vocals sit comfortably within the arrangement, giving the song a sincere character that fits its subject matter well. You’ll be enchanted by her performance.
