Inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, Paramore, and Stevie Nicks, the song takes a diary-like approach to the messy realities of young love and the desire to feel wanted.
I love the song’s arrangement. Driven by beautiful guitar work and punchy drums, which especially come to life during the chorus, it has a cool vibe. The vocals sound iconic, and you can’t ignore their sincerity.
