Multidisciplinary artist Amy Pollock releases her new single, Crazy. Its lyrics deal directly with the reckless side of falling for someone and explore what happens when attraction becomes so all-consuming that warning signs no longer matter. Sometimes we fight too hard to be good, when all we really need is to let go and embrace the darker, crazier side of ourselves.
The instrumentation takes a beautifully hazy approach, layering dreamy textures around the darker emotional core of the song. Amy’s vocals have an unpredictable tone, giving the performance a feeling of tension and freedom at the same time.
