Chilean-Irish artist Vaticanjail shares her new single, DVSL. The song is about self-discovery, acceptance, and finally realizing that you don’t have to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. Its lyrics are absolutely powerful, giving you more self-confidence.
DVSL has a sleek electronic pop sound with punchy drums, heavy sub-bass, bright synths, and layered vocals. I really like how things keep evolving throughout. There are always new little details popping up, but my favorite moment has to be the breakdown around 1:06. It gives the song a cool change of pace.
Vaticanjail does things the way she wants, and that works for her. DVSL impresses on all counts. Check it out below!
