Maggie Ryan is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter. Her new single, LA Blue, serves as a love letter to every woman who has moved to a big city in pursuit of an artistic dream. It captures the innocence of first arriving, the inevitable heartbreaks, the feeling of being used, and figuring out who to trust while trying to find yourself amidst the madness. The lyrics will certainly resonate with many. That’s, in fact, where its strength primarily lies.
LA Blue features cool instrumentation, led by fine guitar work. The vocals are fairly poppy but also definitely have a raw edge.
Ryan manages to impress with LA Blue. Check it out below!
