Rising Spanish talent Cristina Peña recently released her new single, Cancer Moon. The song is about anxiety, self-doubt, and the exhausting feeling of never being good enough. What started as an apology for her anxiety slowly became a deeper reflection on those thoughts and how they have shaped her life. I really like how personal the songwriting feels.
Cancer Moon has a raw indie rock sound, driven by angry electric guitars and drums that really kick in during the second chorus, building up the intensity. Cristina’s vocals perfectly follow the song’s emotional descent.
Cancer Moon will likely shed you a few tears. Start listening below!
