Los Angeles indie-pop artist Grace Kay explores drops her new single Tired, taken from her upcoming sophomore album FALL FROM GRACE, out now via Trailing Twelve. It talks about anxiety and self-doubt in a refreshing way. The lyrics are absolutely striking, and above all, relatable.
Tired sounds dazzling, featuring catchy indie pop textures and crisp vocals. Because of the way the chorus unfolds, the chorus is my favorite part of the song.
The accompanying video follows Grace through increasingly chaotic and absurd scenes, balancing deadpan humor with the lyric’s emotional weight. I think it looks iconic.
