Marie Franc deliver visceral lyricism and ethereal nostalgia with their dark pop songs. They recently released Wildfires. It captures the intensity of intimate moments and the sadness of knowing that the people we love may eventually become strangers.
The track brings together acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums and synthesizer to create a layered indie rock sound. Rachel Ferguson’s vocals sound wonderful, especially during the second half when they go all out.
Marie Franc have an excellent sense of creativity, as Wildfires demonstrates. Check it out below!
