Philadelphia-based alt-rock artist Field Trip Day, the project of Alexa Fecca, shared Nightlight, a dark and haunting new single. Inspired by the unsettling experience of sleep paralysis, the song explores the frightening moment between dreams and reality, when you wake up but feel trapped inside a nightmare.
Nightlight takes a darker, more psychedelic direction than Alexa’s previous singles Rhino and Ode To Office Culture. The track opens with an eerie, ethereal atmosphere before building into fierce choruses, as dramatic shifts in dynamics add to the tension.
Trust us, Nightlight is well worth your time. Give it a spin below!
