Say The Word is Lucy Clearwater’s new single and it sounds amazing. I adore the unique guitar riffs which are unique and reflect strong artistic vision. Besides, Lucy’s vocal performance is captivating until the last note. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the powerful chorus!
Speaking about the track, Lucy says: ”On a cold morning at a cabin near Lake Tahoe, I wrote Say The Word. The guy I was in love with and I had just FaceTimed from LA. He had said he couldn’t see us working out because of our differences in worldview. But, my feelings were too strong I couldn’t just give up without a fight so I wrote this song, laying it all on the table, putting my heart out on my sleeve; “if you want we could try, darlin’ I’m all in, just say the word””. Heart-wrenching and melodious, it is single #3 on my upcoming EP.”
