Julia Gartha is a producer, songwriter, and artist based in Los Angeles. She releases Not In The Room, from her six-track EP, California’s Killing Me. It captures the frustration of being loved only from a distance. When someone barely makes an effort in person but sends all the right words when you’re apart, it’s hard not to question whether they truly want you or simply miss having you around.
Not In The Room has emotional indie pop production, driven by clever guitar work. Gartha’s performance is full of soul, particularly during the chorus. You can tell she means what she sings.
Not In The Room will find a home in the hearts of many. Check it out below!
