A long shot email got SANTI’s first demos into the hands of Fernando Garibay, who produced Lady Gaga’s album Born This Way, and has worked with the likes of U2, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, Enrique Iglesias, and Shakira. After offering some crucial early guidance, Garibay brought the pair from Boston into his West Hollywood studio in the summer of 2018 to finalize the project that would introduce them to the world. Soon enough, SANTI – and the “Latin R&B” sound they’re pioneering – were born.
Animal is their new single and it sounds awesome. I adore the unique melodic construction which showcases inventive techniques. Besides, the vocals are sublime until the last second. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the catchy chorus!
On the single, SANTI says: ”Animal is a track about what can happen when you really lose yourself in music. It follows the emotional journey from desire to tension, and then leads us to that moment of surrender, when we finally give in to our more primal instincts.”
You can say without any doubt that SANTI has made incredibly good music. Animal is the definition of good music. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Animal to your playlist(s).
You can stream Animal below on Soundcloud or Spotify!
