Born and raised in Morocco, Nora Toutain lived in India before she made her way to Canada at the age of 18. Starting music at a young age, by her teens she was classically trained in violin while also developing her talents on guitar, piano, and vocals.
Nora Toutain’s musical start in Montreal began while studying at McGill University, she found a home in Kalmunity, Canada’s largest music improv collective known for attracting a diverse range of musicians from all over the world. From there, she went on to further her studies at the University of Montreal studying Jazz Performance.
Bad at Love is the debut single off Nora Toutain’s debut album Grounding Place Vol 1. and it sounds so good. I like the soulful melodies. Besides, the vocals are magical. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the groovy elements and well-written lyrics.
The single is accompanied by a spectacular music video, directed by Sphera. The clip depicts a series of thoughtfully curated dance scenes that move from sunrise to dark.
Toutain makes really good music. Bad at Love is a bop. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!

You can stream Bad at Love below on SoundCloud, Spotify or YouTube!
