Speaking about the track, she says: ”“I hope people feel a little less alone when they listen to this song. Although it’s fun and upbeat, I wrote it from a super personal place. This is a breakup song but it’s more about what goes on in your head after a break up. Asking questions that we all have had at some point like, ‘how did I get so caught up in the drama of it?’ and ‘how was it so easy for you?’ Those are two of my favorite lines because I feel like everyone who has gone through a breakup can relate. I’ve always been drawn to songs that are super vulnerable and honest. That’s always my goal when I’m writing.”
