MILA is the project of singer-songwriter-producer Michelle Virginie Alblas from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
She recently released a new single titled I just wanna see you so bad.
The song has a surreal quality to it. I like the amazing piano work. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the solid hooks and soothing rhythms.
Lyrically, MILA shines. Her words flow with authenticity.
I just wanna see you so bad is a song about being afraid to talk about how you feel. About the insecurity that can come when sharing your thoughts with someone else.
‘’I wrote I just wanna see you so bad in a time when I was having trouble being open about how I felt. I found it so hard to be vulnerable. And at the same time I was absolutely bursting to do so.’’ says MILA.
The artist’s music connects with people. She makes real art.
I just wanna see you so bad deserves to be heard. It’s a modern masterpiece in my opinion.
Earlier this year, MILA released double-sided single Heartquake / Mantra as the lead single from her new EP. The full EP will follow in the fall of 2020.
You can stream I just wanna see you so bad on Spotify!
