Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
SHE follows the release of Winona Oak’s debut CLOSURE EP (Neon Gold / Atlantic Records) earlier this year.
This project is very interesting. Unique in every way. One of the highlights is the title track.
I like that song a lot. It’s mysterious and poetic. Winona’s music is a mix of different influences. New directions are opening.
The SHE it refers to is the part of us that is willing to do anything to fulfill our ambitions (good or bad). The video, directed by Julian Gillström underscores the theme as Winona plays both the blameless hostage and calculating captor.
